Obama White House To Use YouTube

According to Washington Post President-elect Obama will record the weekly Democratic address not just on radio but also on video -- a first. In addition to regularly videotaping the radio address, officials at the transition office say the Obama White House will also conduct online Q&As and video interviews.

This is only a logical evolution. The Obama campaign had heavily used youtube and the campaign website along with twitter, iPhone application and text messages(SMS).  Change.gov, the website which has been launched to track the transition effort has a blog and it has been regularly updated after the website launch. If Obama keeps his promise of having a transparent government, this presidency will be historic not just for having the first black president. He has started in the right direction by adopting strict rules for lobbying.

Here is also a president who is fan of Star Trek, supports Net Neutrality and clean energy , wants to promote education and believes in global warming. If he follows through on all that, world and not just US will be a better place.
